About Wellestar
Different places.
A shared way of living.
I've spent most of my life close to the edges of things — leading trips through Central America, the Caribbean and Morocco, teaching, working outdoors with people of every age, in places without much comfort to speak of. It taught me early that a good life doesn't need much: people, culture, movement, and a real connection to place.
I've been part of The Arctic Hideaway's story since its early years — I stepped back for a time, and then returned to help its founder, Håvard Lund, build the team we have today. It's where I finally got to build a place around that idea properly: architecture, landscape, light, materials, and how all of it shapes the way people actually live.
Wellestar is where I'm taking that same idea further, into new places, with a team I trust.

Casa Azul
Our first Wellestar house.
