Light, materials, furniture and the things we live with all shape how a space feels. So does knowing what to include, and what to leave out.
We believe in places that feel open, welcoming and comfortable without being crowded or overdone. Creating them takes thought. Not more things, but better choices.
Home, in two places.
I've spent much of my life working and travelling in different environments, from Central America and Morocco to Norway and Spain. Over the past decade, I've worked with Håvard Lund, the founder of The Arctic Hideaway, helping shape and run the place it is today.
That experience deepened my understanding of how architecture, landscape, light and materials shape the way we live.
Wellestar grows out of that experience. I'm bringing the same care and attention to new places, each with its own character and way of life.

From Fleinvær to Cantabria

Shared principles.
The Arctic Hideaway sits on a remote island in northern Norway. Casa Azul is a house by the sea in Cantabria, Spain. They are very different places, but both are shaped by a similar interest in how we live.
Natural light. Fresh air. Good materials. Space to work, cook, rest and gather. Time outdoors, creative work and the ordinary pleasures of everyday life.
The aim isn't to make every place look the same. It's to understand what makes each one work, and bring out the best in it.
